Have you ever researched the vast number of webinar platforms available these days?

It can be so overwhelming when you are trying to choose between price, options, and ease of use.  Many of my clients have been referred to one, and stick with it simply because it is familiar, but it may not be the best option for you.  Here is a break down of the 3 webinar platforms that I recommend.

Choosing the best Webinar Platform for Your Business

GoToWebinar

This incredibly user-friendly platform is my favorite.  I have had the least issues and the best conversions with GoToWebinar.  That said, it is not cheap.  GoToWebinar is loaded with tools such as:

  • automated emails
  • multiple presenters/panelists
  • recording
  • audience interaction
  • handouts
  • practice sessions

I highly recommend GoToWebinar if you plan to frequently host webinars or virtual meetings.  In my opinion, it is one of the best platforms not the market, and well worth the money if you need this functionality.  GoToWebinar has the best 24/7 phone support that I have yet to find in any webinar platform, which is why it is #1 in my books.

WebinarJam

I have clients who LOVE WebinarJam.  Initially, it was not high on my list, but after a few webinars it grew on me.  I love some of the functions that are not available in some of the other platforms.  It is in a similar price range to GoToWebinar, but it definitely offers some different options such as:

  • attendee spotlight
  • active offers buttons
  • urgency countdown timer
  • unlimited attendees
  • SMS reminders
  • custom surveys

When choosing between WebinarJam and GoToWebinar it really comes down to the options that you need.  Both are really great platforms with amazing functionality for your webinar needs.

Zoom

Zoom has a special place in my heart too.  It’s lower price and great functionality are a huge bonus when you are paying less than half the price of GoTo Webinar and WebinarJam.  A couple features that I love include:

  • starts webinar will full-screen webcam, for a more personal experience
  • registration-less webinars
  • records the webcam window even with the screen share
  • up to 3,000 attendees

For the price difference, Zoom is definitely a contender when it comes to functionality.

Google Hangouts

Google Hangouts are an AMAZING resource!  They are 100% free, and although the functionality is definitely lacking compared to GoToWebinar and WebinarJam, it is still a great opportunity to connect with your followers and share your expertise.

Whichever platform you choose to use, if you show up with a high vibe and showcase your skills and expertise you will own it and be that much closer to achieving your goals.
